All the hopes for a slight sea breeze died at 14.30, after two hours waiting on the water in front of Izola. Bora (NE) up to 26 knots on the first day, light maestrale, the local sea breeze of up to 8 knots on the second day, a no wind break for the competitors followed in day three after the first of the two planned party evenings.
The weather forecast for the last day is promising the Bora again, but lighter than the first day, so the RC is planning another few races for the seven fleets before the medal races in the four olympic classes.
